I enjoyed a lovely stay with comfortable beds and friendly staff. Being just a few steps to Westgate Shopping Centre made my weekend strolls super easy and enjoyable.

Upon entering my room, I found it to be less tidy than expected, with surfaces needing a good dusting. The shower pressure left much to be desired, resembling a mere trickle rather than a proper rinse. The absence of complimentary water was surprising given the room rate, with bottled water running £1.80 each, which felt excessive. Breakfast options were hit or miss. the coffee was overly watery and lacked flavor, while some items appeared to be of lower quality. Not to mention, the lift was out of service during my stay, forcing jaunts up to the top floor on foot, which was less than ideal. The parking arrangement is somewhat confusing, requiring a trip to a different lot, adding unnecessary hassle. while it gets the job done, improvements in cleanliness and communication could enhance the experience.

Request a direct room service for breakfast. it was a convenient way to start the day without leaving the room.

We had a lovely time exploring the Verulamium Museum, where the kids loved checking out the Roman theatre and mosaics. The hotel was in a great location, making it easy to visit exciting nearby attractions while ensuring our family had everything we needed during our stay.

In my wife’s opinion, the sofabed wasn't very comfortable for us adults. A room with better bedding options would have made our stay much more relaxing.
